FOUR STANDS — TERMS & CONDITIONS Version: 2026-09-06-v3 | Effective 6 September 2026 1. WHO OPERATES FOUR STANDS Four Stands is operated by Lewis McColl, trading as Four Stands (“I”, “me” or “Four Stands”). The website is fourstands.co.uk; 4stands.co.uk redirects to it. For questions and privacy requests, email privacy@fourstands.co.uk or use the contact form at fourstands.co.uk/contact. These terms explain the conditions for using the website and creating an account. The Privacy Notice explains how personal information is handled. Agreeing to these terms does not subscribe you to marketing. 2. WHAT THE SERVICE PROVIDES Four Stands brings together Scottish football news links, scores, fixtures, tables, club personalisation and the Groundhopper Passport. My Stand presents information about your chosen club. An account lets you save and sync supported profile, preference and Passport information. The current service is free. Creating an account does not authorise a charge or start a paid subscription. If paid features are introduced, their price and terms will be explained separately and will require your agreement before any payment is taken. Four Stands is an independent service. Coverage of a club, league or publisher does not mean that it endorses or operates the website. 3. ACCOUNTS AND AGE You must be aged 16 or over to create an account. Provide your first and last names, date of birth, email address and a display name, and keep your details accurate. Confirm an email address you control and use a secure password. Do not impersonate another person or create an account using someone else’s details without authority. You can browse the public football pages without an account. Contact numbers and marketing choices are optional. Any additional optional profile fields are explained in the Privacy Notice. Keep your password private. If you think someone has accessed your account, change your password and contact Four Stands. You are not automatically responsible for every action on a compromised account; responsibility depends on the circumstances and applicable law. 4. ACCEPTABLE USE Use Four Stands lawfully and respect other people’s rights. Do not harass people, submit threatening or discriminatory material, send spam, upload malicious code, deliberately disrupt the service or attempt to access data or accounts you are not entitled to access. Do not bypass security controls or use automated requests in a way that materially disrupts other visitors’ access. This does not prohibit ordinary lawful use, accessibility tools or activity specifically authorised by the operator. 5. FOOTBALL INFORMATION AND EXTERNAL WEBSITES Scores, fixtures, tables and news depend on external providers. They may arrive late, contain mistakes or change after publication. Check official club, competition or venue information before travelling, buying tickets or making other commitments. News cards identify the publisher and link to its website. External websites operate under their own terms and privacy notices. Four Stands does not control their content or availability. Ground guides and supporter ratings are information and opinion, rather than a guarantee about a venue or an experience. 6. CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY Rights in third-party stories, photographs, club crests and other material remain with their respective owners. Linking to or displaying an excerpt does not give visitors a licence to reproduce a publisher’s work. You retain your rights in original notes and other content you submit. You give Four Stands a non-exclusive permission to store, process and display that content to the extent needed to provide the features you choose, including syncing it to your devices. This does not transfer ownership or grant a general right to use private notes in advertising. Only submit material you are entitled to use. Avoid including sensitive information or someone else’s personal details in notes and problem reports unless necessary and lawful. 7. AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES The service may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, faults or failures at data providers. Reasonable efforts will be made to address problems, but uninterrupted access and immediate updates are not promised. Features may be improved or changed. Material changes affecting existing account users will be explained in advance where reasonably possible. Urgent security fixes may be made sooner. A change to these terms will not retrospectively remove rights you already have. If a material change requires fresh agreement, that agreement will be requested. 8. RESTRICTIONS AND ENDING USE Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to address a serious breach of these terms, fraud, unlawful activity or a security risk. Where it is reasonable and safe to do so, Four Stands will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to correct the issue or challenge the decision. Urgent action may be taken first where delay would create a material risk. You may stop using Four Stands at any time. Contact the operator to request closure of your login account or exercise your data rights. The “Delete cloud data” control removes the profile/Passport cloud records covered by that control. It does not itself close your authentication account, remove every operational record, or erase copies stored in your browser. The Privacy Notice explains these distinctions. 9. RESPONSIBILITY AND YOUR RIGHTS Four Stands remains responsible for its obligations under applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected. Responsibility for other loss will be determined under applicable law, including whether the loss was caused by a breach and was reasonably foreseeable. These terms do not impose a blanket waiver of responsibility for the service. 10. QUESTIONS, COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES Use the contact details above or the “Report a problem” form to raise an issue. Give enough information to investigate, but do not include passwords or payment-card details. Scottish law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. This does not take away any right you have to bring a claim in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.
